Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

It's a Rainy Sunday

It's one of those drizzly, rainy days where you don't want to do anything by stay inside where it's warm and watch TV or read, and that's what we did when we got home from church.  First I dragged my husband over to Hastings Book Store because I wanted to sell back some really good books that I had read.  Most of them I had bought at Hastings, and I had taken really good care of them, so they were in really like-new shape.  There were about 8 or 9 books.  You know what they told me they would pay for them - $2.80!!  What a rip-off.  I told them "No thanks, I can get more for them on eBay."  So this afternoon I started listing them as eBay auctions.  I know they'll be worth at least $3.00 to someone.  After all, there were 2 Nicholas Sparks books, 2 by James Patterson, and one by Tom Brokaw -  plus one of the Father Tim Mitford Series Books by Jan Karon.  Now I'm thinking I should just donate them to the library or something.  I think they'd be more appreciated there.

Tonight we went to an Estate Planning seminar at church, so now I'm depressed thinking about what will become of all my scrapbooking things when I die.  I think my husband will take it all to the dump.  Oh well, I won't thing about that today.  After all, tomorrow's another day - right Scarlett?
