Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

Whew!! I Made It Through Wednesday

I was soooo relived that last night was over!  For the past two days I had spent hours cleaning my house and picking up the clutter all around, just to prepare to have my Foothills Camera Club meeting over at my house last night.  I always dread those ordeals, because I'm not a cook, I don't like cooking, and I seldom cook.  Therefore, I ordered barbeque dinner for 10+ from our local Buddy's Barbeque and bought the dessert.  Of course there is always the obligatory wine, etc. for those who like their alcoholic beverages, but it all went smoothly.  And to top it off, my sister, Jan, arrived from Florida just an hour before the meeting started, so that was really great!  Although we're all avid photographers, our meeting tends to be social get togethers more than anything else.  We always have a photography contest, and this month's subject was "pumkins".  It was well received apparently, because we hade 18 enteries, which we all voted on.   I'll go retrieve them and post.  Don't go away, I'll be back.
