I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

My sister Janet

I took this picture of my sister Janet during the summer, and I was going to scrapbook it, and today's challenge on The Pink Scrapper was to make a layout using blue or teal (I used blue), green (the lettering is in green) and brown.   The paper and die cuts are from an old company that is no longer in existence, "Leaving Prints", of which I used to be a consultant.  They fit perfectly for the challenge, so I decided to use them.  I did the lettering on my computer and printed them in green.

Thanks for all your kind comments. The farmer that lives right behind us planted his entire field with huge sunflowers, just to attract the birds, and we could see all of them right from our back porch. It was a beautiful view!
