Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

Christmas Day 2010

Dear Friends,

I hope you're all having a very Merry Christmas.  We had a beautiful white Christmas here.  It started snowing last night, quit for a while today, and then started up again later this afternoon.  So pretty!  It's the first snow we've had on Christmas Day in 17 years, and I'm sure all the kids will be out with their sleds tomorrow looking for a hill.  But today, they're all inside happily playing with all the electronic toys they got for presents.  We're staying with the grandchildren while their parents go to the Christmas service at their church.  When they get home, we'll all sit down to Christmas dinner.

As for myself, I got the perfect gifts for Christmas - two Cricut cartridges:  "A Child's Life" and "Mr Frosty", an Imagine cartridge.  I can't wait to try them out!!  As I mentioned before, I also got from my husband the large storage compartment for my overflow scrapbooking stuff and Scentsy warmers.  Anything to help clear our little house of clutter!  I did get some pretty snow picture, which I will post within the next couple of days.  I have come down with a case of bronchitis, so I'll probably have to g0 to the doctor when we get back in town.  For now, I can't play with my new toys, so I'll help the kiddies play with theirs.
Take care.
