I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

A Fun Day At A.C. Moore

I went to A.C. Moore Craft Store today because I had a 50% off coupon plus a $25 gift card from my daughter for Christmas.  I was looking for an ATG gun, as I have decided that I can't live without one (one of the many things I've decided I can't live without).  However, there was no ATG gun to be found.  They had some of the other big adhesive runners, but I don't like those as well.  Now I'm afraid I'm going to have to search for it online and pay S & H.  Nuts!!  I did manage to spend $45.00 over my alloted gift card and 50% off item, though, so I think I'll wait for the ATG.  I was worn out after that Pink Stamper Blog Hop last night.  I looked at everyone's blogs and commented on them.  Some of the cards were soooo clever.  If you didn't take part in the "Hop" go over to Robyn at My Pink and look at some of the card submissions from last night.  They really are good.  My DH is busy watching football tonight - playoffs, you know - so I managed to get by with just making soup and salad tonight for supper.  That makes for a great evening.  Right now I'm searching my craft room trying to find my scalloped edge punch.  I bought some special paper to do a layout I saw at the craft store, and one section calls for a scalloped punch.  I have a Stampin' Up scalloped edge punch, but it seems to be hiding from me.  Oh well, I guess I'll go keep looking.  Have a good evening.
