Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

YEARLY TRADITION - Watching the Academy Awards

Here I am, watching the Academy Awards, which I do every year at this time.  As I have mentioned in a previous post, I really want Colin Firth to win for "The King's Speech".  Otherwise, I don't really care who wins.  I just like to watch all the movie stars!  At the same time I am working on making my first really nice Vintage paper bag Mini- Album.  I have been watching a series of videos on You Tube by Kathy from Paper Phenomenon, and she is so talented.  I am trying to make an album like she does, but so far I've spent all my time undoing things I've already glued down because I've done it upside down or backwards.  I don't know how she keeps everything straight!!  Flaps going here and gussets going there.  I got so confused, I've wasted at least three of my paper bags and gobs of paper from my K & Co. stack.  However, I shall keep trying.  I'll take a picture and show you what I have so far.  I haven't put the back or front on yet, though.
