About Me

Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

My Favorite Horse, Dama

This is me and my favorite horse, Dama. She's a Paso Fino, and I was her owner for many years, but, alas, I decided that I wasn't riding her enough to keep her in shape, so I gave her to the riding stables very close to where we live. Now I can go ride her anytime I want, and that's exactly what I did this past Sunday. My sister and I went on a 2 hour trail ride with a bunch of other ladies, and I got to ride Dama again. It was wonderful! Afterwards we had refreshments at the stables clubhouse. We even had hot tea and crumpets in honor of the Royal wedding the day before.

It's Spanish. Paso Fino's are from Puerto Rico or Columbia. Her full name is La Dama de Noche, which means Lady of the Night.
