About Me

My Photo
Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

I heard the news last night before I went to bed, and, you know, I wasn't as thrilled about Osama Bin Laden's death as I thought I would be.  Right after 9/11/2001, I would have gladly wished him to suffer a horrible death, but now I feel no sense of relief, vindication, or revenge.  Ten years after this tragedy, I think he probably wasn't even heading up the terrorist attacks anymore, and in the process of finding and killing him, think of all the people that have died in the past ten years - and still not much has changed.  El Quaida is still very active all over the world, and there will be other terrorist attacks, master-minded by someone else.  The invincibility of America has been lost forever, and further killing will not get it back.  Let us all pray for PEACE.
