Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

THE EMPTY NEST SYNDROME

Well, after having our sweet grandson, Cade, for 2 weeks, and his mommy and daddy for the last week, we took them to the airport this morning for their flight back home.  Now our house is empty, fairly clean, and quiet, and I'm missing them already.  Cade is such a corker!  He's only 6 years old, and some of the funniest things come out of his mouth!  Unlike most young children, he likes a good scarey story at bedtime, and you have to make it up - no good reading it out of a book.  I finally came up with one that was too scarey, even for him.  It was about a huge alien caterpillar that ate people.  I was telling him the story, and when I looked over at him, I noticed that he had his head under that covers.  He said the story was too scarey and wanted me to switch to a funny one, which I was glad to do.

Cade really liked creating things on the Cricut.  He especially likes Sponge Bob, so we spent a whole morning playing with that cartridge.  Now we have a Sponge Bob "collage" hanging in the kiddo room in our house.  Fun!
