Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

OFF TO NANTUCKET ISLAND TODAY

We had a great night's sleep last night, and then we headed out to the tiny little airport on Martha's Vineyard for our flight to Nantucket on a little 9-seater Cessna aircraft. It was pretty windy,so the flight was kind of bumpy, but we made it just fine.

We spent the whole day driving, walking, and touring the island. Nantucket is a National Historical Site, so all the houses have to be alike - just like they originally were when the island was originally founded. The buildings are all made out of drab gray wood shingles or brick, and the windows are not to have any shutters. Their aare very few brick buildings - mostly just the gray homes. One tiny little fisherman's shack recently sold for 1.3 million dollars!!

Of course, there are some really fancy homes also.
