Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

I thought I was already for Christmas the other day, but since we're going to be going to our daughter's house near Nashville, I found I wasn't really ready to go at all.  We still had some presents to wrap, laundry to do, pets to make arrangements for - all those mundane things that we do every day without thinking about it.  My grandson and I made the best (and easiest) cookie snowmen out of Nutter Butter cookies!  Since our kids have grown and moved out, I rarely make this kind of thing, but someone gave us a little tin of them, and they were so delicious that we had to make some to take to Mt. Juliet.  Most of you probably have had these before, but I hadn't.  All you need is some white chocolate candy rounds, a pack of nutter butters, and some mini chocolate chips.  We didn't have any chocolate chips so we just used colored sugar sprinkles.  Melt the white chocolate in your microwave or in a double boiler (does anyone really use those things anymore?).  Then use some tongs to roll the nutter butters around in the melted candy until they're totally coated.  Take them out and put them on a cookie tray covered with waxed paper.  Then quickly put the mini choc. chips in place of eyes and down the tummy for buttons.  Vola!!!  You have a precious snowman, or, in my case precious green sprinkled snowmen.  They are so yummy that your tongue will beat your lips to death when you taste them!  And soooo easy.  My kind of treat.  Well, almost time for bed because we're setting off early tomorrow.  Talk to you later.  Merry Christmas and hug all your loved ones.
