About Me

Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

I don't know why my digital pages will show up sometimes and not show up other times.  Sorry about that!  This has been a yucky two days for my husband and me.  We both came down with food poisoning from eating at a Taco Bell the day before.  Taco Bell's tend to be kind of infamous for causing cases of food poisoning on occasion.  I don't think they keep their foods at the right temperatures or something.  We had gone with our church group to see "Dolly Parton's 9 to 5" in Abidgdon, VA, and on the way home our bus stopped at a Dairy Queen.  The line was so long that we thought we'd be  clever and go next door to the Taco Bell to avoid waiting.  Well, we were severely punished for our choice!  Both of us come down with the  "symptoms" at the same time, so we knew it had to be something we both ate at the same time.  Food poisoning is awful - every muscle aches, your head hurts, and, of course, there are the G.I. symptoms.  We both were incapacitated for 24 hours, and I am still afraid to eat anything.  It's a really tough way to loose 3 lbs!
