About Me

Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

In my last post I was bewailing the fact that I had left my purse on the back of the chair at Subway.  I didn't sleep much that night for thinking of my stupidity, so I was up bright and early the next morning to check with Subway about the purse.  As it turned out,  a policeman had been sitting right behind me and had noticed the purse on the chair not long after I left.  He asked the manager of the restaurant if she knew who had been sitting there, and she said I had just left, so he took it down to the police station.   Apparently, going by my driver's license in my purse, they found out my home phone and left a message for me there.  Of course, I was in Mt. Juliet, not at home, but I did get the message when I got home later on Thursday.  When I checked with Subway, the manager directed me to the Mt. Juliet, TN, Police Station, where I was presented with my missing purse by a dispatch officer. is a very special THANKS to the Mt. Juliet Tennessee Police Dept. for a job well done!

I am sending some pictures of me at my reunion.  Although we had tropical winds and rain for the entire week I was down there, I had a great time, and I'm so glad I was able to re-connect with friends from years ago.  In short, I had a blast!  Enjoy the pictures:
