Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

This morning my sister, I, and Benjamin, our 14 year old grandson, went to Dollywood for the day.  Perfect weather for an outdoor day, even though it was pretty crowded.  Benjamin was dressed to impress the girls, and he went off on his own to ride the rides.  Unfortunately, he lost his cell phone on Dolly's new ride "Wild Eagle".  It turns upside down a couple of times, and the silly boy put his phone in his front pocket when he got on the ride.  Out it went on the first flip over!  I dread calling his Mom to let her know.  On the good side, he did find a nice young lady to spend time with and go on rides, and my sister and I were able to go to all the shows we wanted.  It's Bluegrass time at Dollywood, and there were a number of really good bands playing in various theaters.  It was a great day (other than the phone), and as I write this,  Benjamin is talking to his new girlfriend, Amber on the phone.  Life goes on despite it's little tragedies.
