Judy G.
I was raised in South Florida back in the years when it was a peaceful and wonderfully safe place to live. We lived a mile from the beach and could ride our bikes over the intercoastal bridge right to the best beach around. All my years of growing up I was a competitive swimmer and belonged to AAU. I granduated from Florida State University with a BS degree in nursing. I am recently retired but I'm thinking of going back to work to support my hobbies.

HOPE YOU HAVE A SPOOKY HALLOWEEN!

Did you all have a bunch of Trick or Treaters  tonight?  We used to have literally hundreds of kiddos come to our door, but ever since we moved out to the country and up on a high hill with a 1/4 mile long driveway, we never have any - I wonder why!!  LOL!  No kidding, kids just don't feel like coming all the way up our driveway because it's dark and kind of spooky, so we have a very peaceful Halloween night.  I can remember the days when I used to have to sit right on the steps inside the front door trying to get my supper eaten for the doorbell ringing.  How the times have changed!  I don't miss it a bit either.  Nowdays all the churches have "Trunk or Treat" to encourage the children to stay off the streets and get candy safely.  It seems to work out pretty well for the little ones and they don't have to go knocking on doors around the neighborhood.  Of course the teens will continue to roll houses and cause their mayhem anyway, but it's usually harmless anyway.  HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
